LINEN AND COTTON WOVEN PRINT

Company “Latvijas Tekstils” offers and provides completely new technology in the Latvian market - direct 100% linen and 100% cotton printing.

We use nature-friendly pigment colors that allow printing a full-color (CMYK) image on fabric, multiplying it in every possible way without technological constraints.

Linen and cotton printing prices depend on the number of meters required, but we can even print just one meter.

Fabric printing is done exclusively on linen and cotton rolls 150 - 160 cm wide.

Price is calculated only for complete fabric meters (one complete print step is one whole fabric meter or 150 * 100 cm)

We provide printing on the fabric from the catalogue only.
Printing on customer fabrics is not provided.
Only natural or bleached (white) fabric can be printed.
Printing on dyed fabrics is not provided.
Digital printing can't print white color.

Suitability of linen fabrics:
130 – 150 g/m2 – suitable for scarves, clothes, bed linen
150 – 190 g/m2 – suitable for tablecloths, towels, aprons, clothes etc.
195 – 280 g/m2 – suitable for tablecloths, bags, decorative pillows, tote bags, furniture etc.

Fabric before printing is not softened or otherwise treated.
It is advisable to consider that linen and half-linen can shrink to 7% after washing.

We recommend washing digitally printed linen in a gentle state (suitable washing machine cycles are: wool products, delicate washing, hand washing).
Maximal product washing temperature - 40°

Pictures and designs that have darker colors may cause discoloration after several washing cycles (the color in some areas becomes much duller). It comes from fabric creases (including seams, etc.) and is not considered a print defect. Color "abrasions" can also occur from metal buckles, zippers, leather belts, or other robust surfaces that rub intensely along the fabric during washing. The washing machine cylinder may also cause friction, so it is recommended that printed fabrics be placed in special bags for delicate washing. This will help with the durability of the color.

Tip!
If You want to use printed images on linen or cotton as an application or as a component of other products, You can figure out in advance how many such images can be placed per meter, before sending us files. For example, if an image is designed to be 29 x 29 cm, it is possible to place five image repeats in the width of the fabric.

If files are large, you can also send links from a file storage servers, such as "failiem.lv" or "Dropbox" etc.

Remember - If the image quality is higher and size is bigger (MB or GB), the print quality will be better. For example, if You want to print a large photo, its quality should be at least 2000 px for the shortest edge.

Note that it will not be possible to print a beautiful large image if the file size is too small (such as 10 KB).

Deadlines for print jobs

Fabric printing requires between 2 and 10 business days, depending on the printing equipment availability of the selected material in the company's warehouse.

Additional services

Fabric printing price included fabric and printing services. Design modelling, modifying, upgrading, etc., is an additional graphic design service.

There is no specific price for additional service, but the minimum amount is € 10.00 + VAT.

Sewing services

Company "Latvijas Tekstils" can provide full cycle production - from product idea to finished product.

The cost of sewing depends on the type and size of the product. For more information ask customer service.
